Hugo 5years later

 

 

I have been taking care of Elizabeth for the last 5years. Everyone has forgotten her background and treats her like their princess. She’s 11 now.
Mary is extremely jealous of her and I let Edward be king for a little while, but the he died… poor kid… he was always sickly.

 

 

 

Mary doesn’t like me or Elizabeth. She’s the same age as me now and doesn’t see me as a threat… she knows I’m not the real Henry. But she doesn’t know who I really am and what I’m capable of.

The shadow often comes to visit me, he says the demons are very disappointed in me, but to be honest I don’t actually care anymore, all that matters is Elizabeth now, she’s the one who makes me see life for what it can really be like.

I walk down one of the many long corridors as Mary runs towards me, she’s crying… but… but Mary never cries. “HENRY!! IT’S… IT’S ELIZABETH!!!”
My World falls down around me, no… no… not Elizabeth. “WHATS HAPPENED? WHERE IS SHE?”
Mary takes off running in the direction she came in and I follow closely after her… the horrible possibilities running round in my head… no not Elizabeth… anything but her.

Mary stands outside a room and I hear her scream, it rips my heart out of chest… I burst through the door…

NO, NOT THE SHADOW!!

He stands holding Elizabeth by her neck…

She’s gasping for breath…

“DADDY” she cries out…

I stand frozen…

Anger boiling up inside me…

A loud ROAR escapes my throat…

Both the Shadow and Elizabeth look at me in shock…

Elizabeth looks at me with terror…

“PUT HER DOWN, SHINIGAMI-SAMA!!!”

“NO” he tightens his grip….

I sigh and look at Elizabeth for the last time…

“I have failed Shinigami-Sama, take me home”

He smirks and puts her down…

He flies and grabs me, dragging me back to the demon realm…

Never to see Elizabeth again.
